Legal Services Division
The mandate of the Legal Division is to provide assistance to both farmer-beneficiaries and landowners alike. The use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods in accordance with RA 9285 is being implemented to actively promote party autonomy in the resolution of disputes or the freedom of the party to make their own arrangements to resolve their disputes.
Mediation Cases
The first six months of the year reflects a low trend in mediation cases. Statistically it represents only 90% accomplishment rate, however this low output is also an indication that there is less "misunderstanding" or "tension" between tenants, beneficiaries and landowners alike.
